Situated at one of Kenya's suburbs 16 kilometres from Nairobi, lies arguably the most beautiful golf course in Kenya, The Karen Country Club. Set in the legendary Karen neighbourhood named after its famous first resident Karen Blixen the "Out of Africa" author, Karen is perfectly located for a first Kenyan Golfing experience, bordering the scenic Ngong Hills and a short drive away from the Nairobi National Park.

The course is surrounded by Grevillea robusta trees planted in lines along the fairways, with many water features and a beautiful dam. It is a beautiful course for both players and avid walkers of the club.
It was founded in 1937 at 9 holes but is now a 18-hole golf course. Karen Golf club plays host to the prestigious Kenya Open which will be part of the European Tour from 2019.

The rough of this course will average six to eight inches deep and the second cut averages three to four inches In 1968, Karen Country Club held its first open championship and continues to

host the open annually.

Muthaiga Golf club is among the oldest golf clubs in Kenya with its foundation stone been laid in 1913 by the then white settlers. It serves as home to the Kenya Golf Union.This 18 hole golf club lies at the edge of Karura forest and so sports many indigenous trees. The course is characterized by a variety of trees and flowering bushes giving it a beautiful layout and making it a beautiful course to play. It’s a challenging course with very fine greens for both members and visiting golfers.

3. Windsor Golf and Country Club
